Suffering From Information Overload - Trying To Earn Online With Too Much Haste
WOW! I have been through several hours of videos explaining how to make money on the internet.
By and large, following videos is no big problem, however, putting into practice what is being preached is another matter. Although you know what you should do, after all, you have just been shown how to do it, a mental block happens, and for the life of you, you can’t remember. Back to the videos.
While studying for my A levels, I was told that I should take frequent breaks to allow the information I have just learned, to sink in before bombarding myself with fresh information. There is no excuse for getting myself totally overwhelmed. I should have had a pen and paper handy to take notes. Did I? Nope.
The problem I found was: The videos are very interesting and I couldn’t wait to get onto the next one. My solution is: I will go through every video - one at a time - pausing and digesting and implementing before moving on to the next.
As well as the videos being interesting, I am also rushing to earn more money online. By viewing the videos all at once, I presumed I could start earning quickly. In conclusion though, it will take longer to implement actions if I keep having to re-view the videos. Not only that, but I was doing things in the wrong order. The old phrase of “look before you leap” came to mind.
In future, it’s going to definitely be in order - one after the other - with a pause, digest and implement regime.
Now I have that mindset, I have started from the beginning again and everything is falling into place - this is just how it should be. There is a vast amount of information contained in these videos and I should have known better than to try to do it all at once. My only excuse is: I was so excited at the prospect of earning lots of money that my emotions overcame my reasoning.
After spending money on other products - time and time again - all with little or no success, I know this time is going to be different. In fact, I have doubled my investment just by sending one of the other products in this series to my small (very small) list. Something that has never happened before, so I am filled with enthusiasm, obviously.
